Guillaume Aréou

Guillaume Aréou is admitted to practice before the Paris Court of Appeal. He works on complex international litigation and arbitration cases.
Guillaume holds a PhD in International Investment Law from Nice Sophia-Antipolis University. He trained and worked in leading international law firms in Geneva and Paris. His practice spans Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
Guillaume focuses on disputes in the construction, energy, and food industry sectors.
Guillaume’s experience includes advising and representing clients in commercial and investment arbitration proceedings under the ICSID, the ICC and the Swiss Arbitration Rules.
He represents corporations, state-entities, and States alike in complex and high-value disputes. He has also represented clients before the Paris Court of Appeal in annulment proceedings related to corruption allegations.
Guillaume regularly publishes articles and participates in conferences on international arbitration. He also lectures on international arbitration at French universities.
