Dr. Nasser Wahbi is Of Counsel at AFFAKI AVOCATS and an academic researcher in economy and business law.
A French Government Scholar, Dr. Wahbi graduated from the University of Paris II where he was awarded a Master’s degree and a Doctorate on financial markets regulation with distinction. Earlier in his career, he was awarded a Master’s degree in public law with distinction (2004) and a Master’s degree in international law (2002) from the University of Damascus.
Dr. Wahbi has gained an extensive experience in business law with a focus on the Arab world. His professional experience in diplomacy, economy, and business allowed him to gain deep knowledge in the business legislations of the Arab world including, in particular, financial and investment regulation, financial markets, competition and corporate governance.
He is a member of the Society of Arab Economists and a Special Adviser to the International Board of Economic Regulations for the Middle East.
Dr Wahbi is fluent in French, Arabic and English.
